Scott Michael Bennett – Lexington S.C.

Scott Michael Bennett, 51, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, March 2, 2023, in Lexington S.C. He was born March 3, 1971, in North Charle- roi, a son of Michael Jerome Jr. and Gloria Sztroin Bennett. He graduated from Belle Vernon High School in 1989. He graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in computer-aided drafting. He was a dedicated Pittsburgh sports fan and an appreciator of art and music. Survivors include his mother, Gloria Sztroin Bennett; three daughters, Brianna Bennett, Brittany Bennett and Skylar Muirhead-Bennett; one brother, Shawn (Corry) Bennett; and two nephews, Ty and Keaton Bennett. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles Sztroin Sr. and Florence Rovny; father, Michael Jerome Bennett Jr.; and paternal grandparents, Michael Jerome Sr. and Helen Sebetich Bennett. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Belle Vernon Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Jeff Marton officiating. Interment will follow.
