William Paul Hruby, 65, of Rostraver Township, died Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Born in Charleroi on July 9, 1957, he was the son of the late William V. and Dolores L. Nogy Hruby. William graduated from Belle Vernon High School and graduated from California University. He was a journeyman Electrician for IBEW Local 5 in Pittsburgh, a ski instructor at Seven Springs Ski Resort, and a member of the Elizabeth Boat Club. William enjoyed working on home projects, snow/water skiing, snowmobiling, kayaking, boating/jet skiing, 4×4 trail riding, quad riding, motorcycle/motocross riding, R/C helicopter and airplane flying, hunting, shooting and riding bicycles. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Eileen (Hudson) Hruby; sons, William Hruby and Christopher Hruby; stepchildren, Robert Heckman and Rachel Heckman; niece, Michelle Manko (Jason) Ciferno and their daughter, Jayanna; and niece, Katie Yoder (Luke) Kovalchuk and their children, Gavin and Novella. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Hruby; and sisters, Cathy Hruby-Manko and Janice Hruby-Reed. Friends will be received on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Sandra E. Fitzgibbons officiating.  Entombment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In William’s memory, the family is accepting both flowers and memorial donations to the funeral home.
