Dolores E. Wagner died on March 10, 2023. She was born on July 7, 1927, in Monessen, to Harry and Anna Bubar. She was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone and went on to be a notary at Perryopolis Auto Auction. She married the love of her life, Bill Wagner, in Winchester, Va., on Aug. 22, 1946. They raised their children in Fellsburg. Upon retirement, they moved to Highland Fairways in Lakeland, Fla. Dolores was an avid bridge player, golfer and shopper. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in March of 2020. They were married for 73 years. She is survived by her son, Bill (Berni) Wagner of Lakeland, Fla.; and daughter, Becki (Phil) Riley of Lakeland, Fla.; four grandchildren, Beth (Lee) Witherspoon of Virginia, Amy (Russ) Rack of Lakeland, Fla., Josh (Leilani) Riley of Lakeland, Fla., and Emilee (Lance) Niekro of Lakeland, Fla.; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023, and a prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2023, at GENTRY-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME AT SERENITY GARDENS, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland, Fla. Dolores will be laid-to-rest with her beloved husband at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. Online condolences may be made at Gentry-Morrison.com.
