Carla Simon Phillips – Perryopolis

Carla Simon Phillips, 62, of Perryopolis, Perry Township, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, at Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown. Born Jan. 1, 1961, in Homestead, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Fred and Thelma Carlino Simon. A resident of Perryopolis for the past 30 years, Carla worked at Jefferson Hospital in physician referral and had a passionate love for her dogs. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Phillips, to whom she was married 30 years. She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Fluman. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2023, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 191 Liberty St., Perryopolis, 724-736-2515, followed by funeral services at 7:30 p.m. Donations in memory of Carla can be made to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 or to SAD Tails Rescue, 412-974-8124.
