Tri-Community EMS buys new monitors

Tri-Community EMS bought two new LifePak monitors this month. New Eagle council briefly discussed the purchase Tuesday, as the service covers the borough along with Carroll Township and Monongahela. The purchase cost around $40,000 and replaced two older monitors that expired March 1. Tri-Community Director John Madaras said the service bought the monitors refurbished, adding they hope the devices last another 10 years.
