After hip preservation, EF’s McClain ready for PIAA meet

For the first time in her high school career, Maddy McClain will compete in the PIAA Swimming and Diving Championships at Bucknell University this week. The Elizabeth Forward senior will take part in the 500 freestyle Thursday after qualifying with a 10th-place performance and a time of 5:29.13 at the WPIAL meet on March 3.
