Elizabeth Township: Address change affects residents in 15135 zip code

Elizabeth Township commissioners announced an address change for residents who live in the 15135 zip code during Monday night’s meeting. Commission Vice President Josh Walls explained that, before he worked with fellow commissioner Chris Thoma to get in contact with a local postmaster, people living in the 15135 zip code would pay taxes to Elizabeth Township, but their mailing address was officially recognized as McKeesport or Boston rather than Elizabeth Township.
