Amelia Nudo Scuteri, 100, of Monessen, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023. at home, with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 13, 1922, in Monessen, the daughter of the late James and Maria Trozzo Nudo. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church, and a former member of St. Cajetan Christian Mothers and Epiphany Ladies. She was a 1939 graduate of Monessen High School, she worked for Corning Glass, Murphy’s 5 &10 and the Valley Independent. Surviving are two sons, Russell (Annamarie) Scuteri of Wilmington, N.C., and Peter Scuteri of Monessen; two daughters, Melanie Shrader of Monessen and Maria Scuteri of Monessen; five grandchildren, Mark, Jessica, Skylar, Antoinette and Michelle; nine great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Anthony R. Scuteri; her son, Anthony Scuteri; and her sister, Anne Salvino. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd., Monessen, with Father Michael J. Crookston officiating, entombment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, Donora. The DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES are entrusted with her arrangements.
