McKeesport school district sued by former bus company

The McKeesport Area School Board revealed Monday that Pennsylvania Coach Lines has sued the district, alleging board members and local leaders committed contract fraud in previous negotiations. Board member Dave Donato broke the news to the public at the end of the meeting. “I learned last week that the school district is being sued by Pennsylvania Coach Lines,” Donato said. “Specifically, McKeesport School District, (city administrator) Tom Maglicco, Joe Lopretto, (former superintendent) Mark Holtzman, City of McKeesport, (Mayor) Michael Cherepko and (state) Sen. James Brewster. The bus company is alleging that we committed some type of negotiation fraud and presented them with faulty statistics.”
