Artist brings crankie project to Ringgold South students

Third-graders at Ringgold Elementary School South started a unique project this month. The district partnered with the Pittsburgh Center for Arts and Media to host a months-long artist residency at the school. Once a week until April, PCAM Artist in Residency Katy DeMent will join students and art teacher Janice Dongilli in half-hour periods to work on collective, hands-on art projects.
