Aria Mae Woznick, 6 years old, of North Belle Vernon, passed away due to injuries sustained in a tragic accident on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023. A daughter of Timothy and Amanda Schrecengost Woznick and little sister to Emma and Caleb Woznick, she was born in Greensburg on Aug. 22, 2016. Aria was baptized in Elderton Presbyterian Church and was in kindergarten at Marion Elementary School. Aria loved to play, sing and dance; she had no “off’ button.” She was always getting into her sister’s make-up and coloring on the walls, usually in the color purple, which was her favorite. Aria will be remembered for being fun-loving, sassy and sweet, happy-go-lucky, and will be loved and missed by everyone who knew her. In addition to her parents and siblings, she is survived by paternal grandparents, Timothy Woznick Sr. and his fiancé Tina, and Angela Woznick and her husband Robert Armstrong; maternal grandparents, Mark and Patricia Schrecengost and Shonna McBride and her husband Bob Crise; paternal great-grandparents, Barb and John Woznick and Patricia Carlson (Rocco Iannapollo Sr.); maternal great-grandparents, Sandra Sturiale and Nancy Schrecengost; and aunts and uncles, Jennifer and Robyn Weems, Elania Woznick and fiancé Mark Stein, Rebecca and Arthur Hamel, Miranda Schrecengost and fiancé Brandon Simon, Mark and Robin Schrecengost Jr., Beth Schrecengost and fiancé Christopher Grimes, and Dominic Schrecengost. All are welcome to be with our family and friends for visitation from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com, as well as the funeral services, which will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Belle Vernon Area High School auditorium, 425 Crest Ave., Belle Vernon, with the Rev. Bobbie Hineline of the Latrobe United Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery at a later date.
