Rebecca Jane Grissom, 70, of Fayette City, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 17, 2023, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. Rebecca was born on Aug. 20, 1952, to the late Vernon and Wilma Holder Lethco. Rebecca was the most loving mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly by her family. She was also the most caring, compassionate and the nicest person to everyone she met. Surviving to cherish Rebecca’s memory are her sons, Ricky O’Brien and Paul Hissey; her brother, Joseph Nicholson; her sisters, Virginia (Dale) Dorcon and Helen Ann Huckabee; and her grandchildren, Jazmine O’Brien and Chase O’Brien. In addition to her parents, Rebecca was also preceded in death by brothers, Mark Claude Nicholson and David Glen Nicholson. To honor Rebecca’s wishes, all arrangements have been entrusted to HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022.
