Sandra Dee DuCarme, 57, of Donora, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, in her home. She was born Feb. 23, 1965, in Charleroi, daughter of the late Vernon William and Beverly Ann Large Hayden. Sandy was employed for 25 years as a human services coordinator at the Salvation Army in both Monessen and Finleyville. She was a member of the A.B.A.T.E. of PA – Mon Valley Chapter. Her grandchildren and fur babies, Lola, Harley and Chip, were her life. Sandy was a loved member in her community. She enjoyed going to the beach and giving to others. She is survived by five children, Christal Waggoner of Monongahela, Amber Rusnak of Donora, Stephanie Clutter of Latrobe, Paul (Rikki) Rusnak of Stockdale and Daniel Johnson of Donora; 12 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; four brothers, Vernon Hayden Jr. of McKeesport, Todd Hayden of Castle Shannon, Dale Hayden of Monongahela and Charles Hayden of Donora; special friend, Linda Cherok; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John George DuCarme, who died May 6, 2012; granddaughter, Constance Rusnak; brother, Timothy Large; and two sisters, Denise Hayden and Laura Hayden, who died in infancy. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela.
