Allegheny County certifies special election results

The Allegheny County Board of Elections has certified the results of three recent special elections. If the county’s official results are accepted and certified by the Pennsylvania Department of State, it will officially mean Democrats have control of the state House of Representatives. The special election results for the races in the 32nd, 34th and 35th Legislative Districts were unanimously certified by the Board of Elections at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
