White Oak to aid officers involved in shooting

The proceeds raised during one of White Oak’s 75th anniversary events will benefit McKeesport police Officer Chuck Thomas and the family of fallen Officer Sean Sluganski. This year is the borough’s diamond anniversary, with a long list of events planned to mark the occasion and to bring the community together in fun and fellowship. Among those events will be a 5K walk/run set for the morning of July 29.
