Elizabeth M. Frankovich Rosensteel – Monongahela

Elizabeth M. Frankovich Rosensteel, 75, of Monongahela, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, in Jefferson Hospital. Born in Washington, Pa., on July 8, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Walczak Frankovich. Mary was a 1964 graduate of the former Mon Valley Catholic High School and worked for over 30 years in the bakery at California University until her retirement. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Monongahela. She had always enjoyed bowling with her late husband, Ed. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Edward J. (Shelly) Rosensteel of Donora; a daughter and son-in-law, Rochelle (Jim) Noone of Monongahela; and two grandchildren, Keli and Clayton Rosensteel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Rosensteel, who died May 20, 2022; a granddaughter, Kaitlyn “Moe” Rosensteel, who died June 13, 2019; a brother, Francis Frankovich; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Frankovich; a sister, Barbara Beck; and brother-in-law, John Beck.
