Rochelle Byron Hileman – Belle Vernon

Rochelle Byron Hileman, 84, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2023, at her home. Born Feb. 16, 1938, in Donora, she was the daughter of the late James and Ester Blanker Byron. A lifelong resident of the Mon Valley, Mrs. Hileman was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Charleroi, was a homemaker, a member of the former CAS Ambulance service for many years and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 94, Monessen. In her younger years, Rochelle participated in competitive roller skating at the Piggly Wiggly on Route 906, enjoyed playing bingo, baking and sitting on her front porch with her husband. She is survived by her husband, James A. Hileman, to whom she was married 66 years; two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Darcy Hileman of Fairhope, Tom and Shawna Hileman of North Belle Vernon; two daughters and sons-in-law, Laurie and Ernie Colelli of Fairhope, and Jamie and Jim Butz of Rostraver Township; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Hileman of Fairhope; 10 grandchildren, Ryan and Malissa Peck, Heather Miller, Justin Hileman, Jonathan Hileman and Valerie Fleming, Deanna and Rob Dawson, Scotlun and Jimmy Ryan, Jacob Hileman, Brett and Gina Seroka, Tiffany and DJ Rechichar and Zachary Hepple; 10 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Penny and Ronald Rizzuto of Pompano Beach, Fla.; and a special friend, Debbie Strychalski. She was preceded in death by her son, David Hileman. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183, followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. with Pastor Bruce Stollings, chaplain of Vitas Health Care, officiating.
