Sluganski’s funeral will be private

Many Mon Valley residents have been eager to pay their respects and express their sympathy to the family and fellow first responders of slain McKeesport police Officer Sean Sluganski. Arrangements for Sluganski’s funeral are being handled by John F. Slater Funeral Home in Brentwood. A funeral Mass and burial, which are set for Tuesday at St. Albert the Great Church in Baldwin, will now be private, according to an updated obituary on the funeral home’s website.
