Donna Marek Dick – North Charleroi

Donna Marek Dick, 74, of North Charleroi, passed away peacefully on Feb. 9, 2023, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. Born on March 1, 1948, Donna was the daughter of the late Sue Marek. Donna graduated from Charleroi High School, Class of 1966, and worked for Corning Glass in Charleroi, Kmart in Belle Vernon and most recently Charleroi Area High School. She enjoyed sewing and making crafts, baking and spending time outdoors in her garden. Donna was a loving mother and grandmother, and her friends will miss her dearly. Surviving to cherish Donna’s memory are her son, Tom Jarvis; daughters, Deb Moore and Amy Donley; and her granddaughter, Mackenzie Zemba. In addition to her mother, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie George Dick. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2023. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
