Veronica M. Pollack, 90, of Rostraver Township, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023.  Born in North Charleroi on Oct 19, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Frances Scardina Pennline. A homemaker, Veronica attended The Hope Center in Belle Vernon, where she practiced her Christian faith. She enjoyed crocheting, building puzzles, painting and baking. She is survived by her children, Mary Penlevine, Frances Lucas, Veronica (James) Davis, Alberta Pollack, Kathy Jones, Anna Marie Gerda and Rebecca (Walt Geroda) Pollack; grandchildren, Rebekah, Sarah, Samantha, Tamara, Tina, Steve, Jeffrey, Rachel, Paul, Tabitha, Melissa, Justin, Darin, Jessica and Eli; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and sister, Ninfa (Jules) Massey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Pollack; and son-in-law, Paul “PJ” Jones Sr. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at noon with Pastor Jeff Marton officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contribution to National Fallen Officers www.nationalfof.org.
