Warriors hammer Leps, claim section title

Coming into Monday night’s game, Elizabeth Forward made no bones about it. They didn’t plan on sharing a section championship with anyone. And they played like it against rival Belle Vernon. In a game with the opportunity for each team to raise a section title banner if the Leopards could knock off the Warriors, it was more like the Leopards never got off the bus at Elizabeth Forward High School. The Warriors embarrased their neighbors to the south, picking up a 58-26 win, ending Belle Vernon’s seven-game winning streak in humbling fashion.
