Anne Darby, 67, of Charleroi, died unexpectedly on Jan. 30, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Grace and Rudy Zubricky of Charleroi. Prior to retirement, Anne was a real estate agent in the Mon Valley.  Anne was an avid animal lover and cared for many beloved pets during her life. She is survived by her husband, Bill Darby; sister, Elizabeth (Dwight) Laufman of Pittsburgh; and her brother, Rudy (Joanne) Zubricky of Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. She is survived by much-loved nieces and nephews as well. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, George Cross. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME, 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023. Committal services and interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the local animal shelter of your choice.
