On the morning of Jan. 15, 2023, Joseph “Joe” E. Chandler of Sauk Rapids, Minn., formerly of Glassport, died at the age of 72. Joe was born to Francis and Dolores Chandler in 1950. He was a graduate of South Allegheny in 1968. He then went onto junior college for drafting. In 1977, he began working for Bellefield Boiler Plant in Pittsburgh, where he retired after 30 years.
