High school bands joining forces for concert

Tomorrow, the eyes of the commonwealth — and of the nation — will be focused on Punxsutawney as Pennsylvania’s most famous groundhog tells us whether we should expect six more weeks of winter. Perhaps you hate winter, and have got a hunch that Punxsy Phil might see his shadow. If you’re looking to take your mind off Phil’s meteorological prediction, head to McKeesport Area High School for the band’s Groundhog Day Festival concert, which has been a tradition in the McKeesport area for longer than MAHS band Director Drew DeCarlo can recall.
