Donora eyes new look for downtown

Things are moving forward for McKean Avenue in Donora as the borough eyes more demolition projects along its downtown corridor. A month after receiving a $90,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development for blight removal on McKean, the borough was recommended for $225,000 last week from Washington County’s Local Share Account.
