James Leo ‘Head’ Arrigo – California, Pa., formerly of Charleroi

James Leo “Head” Arrigo, 72, of California, Pa., formerly of Charleroi, died peacefully in the Donnell House on Monday, Jan. 23, 2023. He was born Monday, July 31, 1950, in Charleroi, son of the late Joseph Arrigo, Sr. and Esther O’Hara Arrigo. He was a member of the Belgian and Slovak clubs in Charleroi and a lifelong Steelers fan. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his three brothers, Chuck, Joe and Mick Arrigo; and his “sweetheart,” Chyrel Shaughnessy. Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Frances Anderson of Charleroi; and Chyrel’s daughters, whom he considered to be like his daughters, Kimberly Kubicko and husband Frank of California, Pa., and Christina Lombard and husband Craig of Perryopolis; niece, Gina Kogler; nephews, Ed and Tom Widziszewski; numerous other nieces and nephews and his special little buddy, Hayden. Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa.
