Eileen B. Polakovic, 92, of Rostraver Township, formerly of West Mifflin, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023. Born in Galway, Ireland, on Dec. 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John and Ann McDonagh. Eileen was a registered nurse at Montefiore Hospital and was a member of the Church of St. Anne. She was a deeply religious person and was very proud of her Irish heritage. She was a very kind and caring person and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her family was her life. She is survived by her children, John (Donna) Polakovic of White Oak, Mary Ann (George) Greco of Rostraver, Albert (Tammy) Polakovic of Plum and Robert Polakovic of Jefferson Hills; grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Kaitlin, Garrett, Nicole, Ashley, Kayla and Alyssa; and great-grandchild, Jayce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Polakovic; and siblings, Bridget, Kathleen, Noreen and Ann. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at the Church of St. Anne with the Rev. David J. Nazimek presiding. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, North Versailles.
