Dolores ‘Dolly’ Seykoski- Monessen

Dolores “Dolly” Seykoski, 90, of Monessen, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, in Woodhaven Care Center, Monroeville, with her loving family by her side. She was born on Feb. 7, 1932, in Monessen, the daughter of the late Peter and Irene Stefansky Sowko. She was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, where she was also a former member of the St. Mary’s Ladies. She worked at John G. Check Furniture as an administrative assistant and later on worked at the Monessen Senior Center. Surviving are her son, John Peter Seykoski of Lompoc, Calif.; daughter, Diane (Charles Jr.) Allison of Monroeville; two sisters, Marsha Lechow of Simi Valley, Calif., and Patricia (William) Miller of Flower Mound, Texas; and grandchildren, Chaz and Tyler Allison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John “Wilbur” Seykoski. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Funeral services will begin at noon with Father Stephen Wahal officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rostraver Township.
