Andrew J. Zeletski, 74, of Fayette City, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born May 2, 1948, in New Eagle, son of An-drew and Lucille Benney Zeletski. Andrew was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Monongahela. He was employed at Mathies Coal Mine in Finleyville for over 30 years and was very active in the United Mine Workers of America. He was a veteran, having served in the United States National Guard. Andrew was passionate about cars. He loved buying different cars and tinkering with them. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Tuscano Zeletski, with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage on April 19, 2022; five daughters, Lori (John) Matthews of Greentree, Jaime Jurofcik of New Eagle and Devon, Abbigail and Rebecca Zeletski, all at home; six grandchildren; three sisters, Kaye (John) Ott of Pittsburgh, Jane (Ray) Hazen of Monongahela and Gina (Chuck) Hirth of Harmony; brother, Michael Zeletski of Bridgeville; and sister-in-law, Leslie Zeletski of Munhall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven Zeletski; and brother, Robert Zeletski. At the request of the family, there will be no services for Mr. Zeletski.
