David Sitkowski – Washington

David Sitkowski, 66, of Washington, passed away suddenly on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, in Washington Hospital. He was born on May 7, 1956, in North Charleroi, son of the late Victor and Minnie Esola Sitkowski. He was a 1974 graduate of Monessen High School. David worked as a chef at Union Grill and Tiffany Place. He volunteered his time at Washington City Mission, helping people who were struggling with addiction. He is survived by a daughter, Erica Sitkowski of Monessen; and former wife, Debbie Young of Monessen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Victor Sitkowski. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Interment will be held at a later date in Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Washington City Mission, 84 W. Wheeling St., Washington PA 15301.
