Dr. William E. Beck – St. Augustine, Fla., formerly of Monessen

Dr. William E. Beck passed away on Jan. 5, 2023. He was born and raised in Monessen, Pa., on Oct. 4, 1937, to the late Peter and Stephanie Beck. He was a graduate of Monessen High School. He attended California University for his undergrad, Duquesne University for his masters and California Coast University for his doctorate. He was a principal in special education (ESE) for the Allegheny Intermediate Unit until his retirement. He relocated to Florida with his wife in 2000, last residing in St. Augustine. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Pallini Beck; son, Lance Beck of St. Augustine; and grandchildren, Kyle Beck and Marie Beck; as well as his nephew George Magatz and his wife Karen; as well as his niece, Marline Trilli and husband, Tom Trilli of Monessen, and their children, Stephanie Trilli and Tiffany Trilli. A funeral service is being held on Jan. 23, 2023, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in St. Augustine, Fla.
