Monessen fifth-graders offer coding demonstration

A group of fifth-grade students were in the spotlight at Tuesday’s meeting of the Monessen School Board. Teacher Jennifer Gardner brought three of her students — Avery Rivera, Natalia Taylor and Avaya Brewer — to show the board some of the coding projects that they have been putting together.
