Ribbon cut for Jacktown Bridge replacement project

State Sen. Jim Brewster and state Rep. Andrew Kuzma joined Elizabeth Township officials for a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday at the Jacktown Bridge replacement project site in Elizabeth Township. Work started on the project this week. “We’re at the very, very beginning,” said township Manager Greg Butler. Butler estimated the bridge, designed by KLH Engineering, will be finished “within this calendar year.”
