Joseph D. Repine Sr. – Monessen

Joseph D. Repine Sr., 94, of Monessen, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023. Born in Charleroi on May 9, 1928, he was the son of the late Allison and Anna Bel (Varchulik) Repine. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Repine. He is survived by his longtime friend, Mary Rita (Kostella) Rozik; and his nephew, Mark Repine (Virginia) of South Park. Joe served in the U.S. Army and National Guard prior to working at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in Allenport as a crane operator for 32 years. A generous man with a big heart, Joe enjoyed target shooting, working around the house and having coffee with friends at My Girls diner in Charleroi. No viewing or funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, in his name.
