Jane Amati, 69, of Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023, at her home. Jane was born on Jan. 30, 1953, in North Charleroi, daughter of the late Delbert Kolodziej and the late Carol Smith Kolodziej. She was employed at Corning Glass for many years, then she worked security for TSA after the 911 tragedy and finally she worked for Home Health as an aide. Jane enjoyed shopping with her daughter and granddaughters, cooking and watching her favorite show, “Criminal Minds.” She loved her Starbucks runs with her girls. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Amati on July 2, 2022; and a brother, Delbert Kolodziej Jr. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kimberly Lanham of Belle Vernon; two granddaughters, Hannah Lanham and Paige Boyd; a sister, Joni (John) Charletta of Pittsburgh; a brother, Mark (Lilia) Kolodziej of California.; and her beloved dog, Gaby; and granddog, Freddie. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Extension, Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023.
