Charleroi finds second gear in win over Yough

In Tuesday’s loss to Waynesburg, Charleroi’s six-player rotation was on its heels in the second half and couldn’t fight to get over the hump. The Cougars bounced back in a big way Thursday, as they withstood a third-quarter charge by Yough and found that second gear in the final eight minutes to pull out a 57-46 triumph at home for their first Section 4-3A win of the season.
