Gladiators pass first test

South Allegheny passed its first big test in the Class 4A ranks while playing against a familiar opponent Tuesday night. Less than a year after suffering a 46-43 loss to Avonworth in the WPIAL Class 3A semifinals, the unbeaten Gladiators used a late 12-0 run to capture a 55-42 win over the Antelopes in a Section 4-4A showdown.
