Local police benefit from grant program

A handful of local police departments have received grants to help keep their communities safe. Before Christmas, Gov. Tom Wolf announced $170 million in grants that will be distributed to more than 220 law enforcement agencies and county district attorneys’ offices through two new programs designed to improve community safety.
