The state Department of Community and Economic Development recently awarded Donora Borough $90,000 for the demolition of a blighted property on McKean Avenue.
The grant comes from the department’s Keystone Community Program, which awarded almost $8 million for 51 community development projects across the state.
Gov. Tom Wolf announced grant recipients last Tuesday, detailing a wide range of projects in 30 commonwealth counties.
