Southmoreland rolls past Cal; Ringgold gets first win

Southmoreland used a massive first-quarter run to gain separation early en route to a 59-31 win over California on the first night of the annual Charleroi Holiday Tournament Tuesday. The Scotties (6-1) trailed by four points in the opening minute of the game before marching out on a 21-2 run over the span of six-plus minutes to extend its lead to 21-6.
