Longtime volunteer calls library her ‘happy place’

When you think of who waters the plants at the library, or who puts the colorful pamphlets out on the table — do you know who should come to mind? The library volunteers. The Carnegie Library of McKeesport has such a lady — Ellen Hornfeck. A resident of Glassport, she is the library’s longest serving volunteer and is still on the job after 35 years.
