Francis ‘Wick’ Farrell – Speers

Francis “Wick” Farrell, 70, of Speers, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 23, 2022.  A son of the late Dorn and Helen Koslosky Farrell, he was born in Brownsville on Jan. 20, 1952.  Wick was a graduate of the former California University of Pennsylvania with an associate degree and was a member of Speers United Methodist Church. He had been employed at the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Monessen plant, and its subsidiaries and retired from Arcelor Mittal. Wick enjoyed working at Cedarbrook Golf Course after his retirement, golfing, traveling to Myrtle Beach, harness racing at the Meadows and coaching Biddy League basketball in Brownsville. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Pam Lizza Farrell; two daughters and a son in-law, Jocelyn Farrell of Speers, and Marissa and Matthew Steyer of Butler; a sister, Annette Farrell of Richmond, Va., and two brothers and sisters in-law, Dorn Patrick and Casey Farrell of Kingman, Ariz., and Terry and Debra Farrell of Speers. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, 2022, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.  A funeral service will begin at 8 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating.
