Sewage rates to increase in Elizabeth Twp.

Elizabeth Township will recalculate its sanitation rate in response to a rate hike announced Dec. 8 by PA American Water. On Monday, the board tasked KLH Engineer Kevin Creigh with conducting a rate study so that action can be taken in advance of Jan. 23, when the company will start charging the township $16.88 per gallon of treated water.
