Vulcans end rare three-game skid

The California women’s basketball team entered Sunday’s contest with Bloomsburg in the midst of just its second three-game losing streak in the last eight seasons. Now, that brief skid is a thing of the past. The Vulcans returned to the win column behind a strong defensive effort and a second-quarter surge in a 56-48 triumph over the Huskies in PSAC crossover play at the Convocation Center.
