City of Monessen to accept partial garbage payments

The City of Monessen will now accept partial garbage payments, enabling residents to pay in installments.
Council repealed an ordinance that essentially required residents to pay in full or not at all in a 4-1 vote, with Councilman Don Gregor casting the lone dissenting vote.
“We’re not going to turn them away if they don’t have 100% of their payment,” Councilman Tony Orzechowski said.
