Carol Howard – Rostraver Township

Carol Howard, 64, of Rostraver Township, went home to glory in Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022. A daughter of the late Kenneth Bashur and Laura Jean Halt, she was born in McKeesport on Aug. 5, 1958. In the late 1970s she completed coursework for her GED, which she was extremely proud of. She was an employee at Channel Kraft in Charleroi before leaving Pennsylvania to make a home in Killeen, Texas, for 14 years. Carol attended the Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Charleroi. She is survived by her brother and sister in-law, Albert and Sandra Bashur of Rostraver; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Howard; four brothers, Kenneth, Charles, George and Rosser; and a dear friend, Alice Autumn, with whom she made a home in Texas before returning to Pennsylvania. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Peterson officiating. Interment will be in Fells Cemetery.
