Bruce ‘Grady’ Muirhead – Fayette City

Bruce “Grady” Muirhead, 75, of Fayette City, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, in WVU, Uniontown Hospital, with his son, Jason, by his side. He was born July 5, 1947, in Charleroi, son of the late David Muirhead and Dorothy Feehan Muirhead. Bruce was a proud U.S. Marine, who served during the Vietnam war and came home disabled. He was a member of the American Slovanic Citizens Club of Fayette City, Fairhope Rod & Gun Club and the Naomi Athletic Club. He is survived by his son, Jason Muirhead; wife, Shelley DeWitt Muirhead; granddaughter, Jordan Muirhead; daughter, Jennifer Muirhead; granddaughter, Skylar Muirhead; and grandson, Ramey Burger; former wife and friend, Karen Muirhead; brothers, Dennis Muirhead and David Lee Muirhead; and his beloved Fayette City family, Herbie Vargo (Dianne), Claudia Stewart, Frank Bennett, Jimmy Hamer, Greg Grados, Michelle and Greg “Lucius” Henry, Lance Vargo and so many others. He was generous and loving to his family and friends, but especially to his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and his dear friends, Herb Vargo Sr., John “Rabbit” Wozniak and Bill Bob Stewart.
