Marianne O’Neil, 78, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 10, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Born in North Charle- roi on Nov. 14, 1944, Marianne was the daughter of the late William and Annabelle Plens Peck. Marianne was a big fan of playing bingo and loved going to the casinos and playing the lottery. She was the most loving mother, grandmother and the best great-grandmother, “Nana” to all her grandchildren. Surviving to cherish Marianne’s memory are her brother, Terry Peck; her daughters, Sheila (Mark Coleman) Cook, Amber (Andrew) Akers, Tammy O’Neil and Jimsette O’Neil; and her son, Joseph (Mona) Osborne; her grandchildren, Matthew (Jamie) Cook and Leanne (Kendall) Cook; and her great-grandchildren, Jada, Jesalyn and Jaiden Arnold. In addition to her parents, Marianne was also preceded in death by her husband, James A. O’Neil; and her brother, William Peck. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. A funeral service will be held inside the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022. Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park.
