Joanne Sellers, 87, of Bethel Park, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, in Allegheny General Hospital.  A daughter of the late Lyle W. Sinsley Sr. and Ellen Mae White Williams, she was born in Belle Vernon on May 18, 1935. Formerly of Belle Vernon and Rockwood, Joanne has been a resident of Bethel Park for 18 years. She had been employed as an engineer for the former Bell Telephone Company and was a former member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene. Joanne was an avid seamstress and she enjoyed making dresses for her nieces. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Carlotta Seftas of Monessen, Susan (Kelly) Cate of Marietta, Ga., Walter (Brenda) Sinsley of Belle Vernon and Paul David (Angelia) Sinsley of Coolidge, Ariz.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert (Bud) Sellers, on Oct. 2, 2003. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Belle Vernon Cemetery Chapel with the Rev. Patti Smith officiating.
