Claudette A. Henry – Washington, formerly of Monessen

Claudette A. Henry, 76, of Washington, passed away on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with her family by her side. A daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Pasierb, she was born in Pittsburgh on Nov. 21, 1946. Formerly of Monessen, Claudette has been a resident of Washington since 2019. Catholic by faith, she had been employed at the Monessen Rite Aid for 25 years before retiring in 2011. Claudette loved crafts, casinos, Egyptology and traveling, and has visited many places in the Caribbean, Middle East and Europe. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dwight L. Henry; three sons and daughters-in-law, DJ Henry and Kris Pastorik of White Oak, Sean Henry and Jessica Mattozzi-Henry of Monessen, and Bill and Kris Rose of Donora; a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Josh Vanoli of Port Chester, N.Y.; a sister, Marcia Pasierb of Burlington, N.J.; and two grandchildren, Connor Henry and Payton Pastorik. Per Claudette’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Entombment will be in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
